Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into a programme.

As part of the application process, applicants may submit video pitches, written responses, photographs, supporting documents, or other materials.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have obtained all necessary permissions to submit it.
  • Your submission does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • The content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or offensive material.

By submitting your content, you grant Khalsa Catalyst and Devanhaar a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, review, process, and use the material solely for:

  • Assessing programme applications.
  • Managing admissions.
  • Delivering educational programmes.
  • Internal administration.
  • Legal and regulatory compliance.

Applicants retain ownership of their submitted materials.

Khalsa Catalyst accepts no responsibility for copyright or intellectual property claims arising from materials submitted by applicants.

6. Residential Programme Terms

Some Khalsa Catalyst programmes include residential activities, accommodation, educational visits, workshops, or other in-person events.

Participants are expected to:

  • Respect staff, volunteers, mentors, and fellow participants.
  • Follow programme rules and safety instructions.
  • Respect accommodation, facilities, and property.
  • Comply with safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
  • Behave responsibly throughout the programme.

6.1 Zero-Tolerance Behaviour Policy

Khalsa Catalyst maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards behaviour that places others at risk or disrupts the learning environment.

Participants may be removed from a programme without refund where appropriate if they engage in:

  • Violence or threats of violence.
  • Bullying or harassment.
  • Discrimination or abusive behaviour.
  • Possession or use of illegal substances.
  • Criminal activity.
  • Serious breaches of safeguarding requirements.
  • Any behaviour that endangers the safety or wellbeing of others.

Removal from a programme may occur immediately where considered necessary to protect participants or staff.

6.2 Emergency Medical Treatment Authorisation

Where a participant is under the age of 18 and requires urgent medical treatment during a programme, every reasonable effort will be made to contact their parent or legal guardian.

If a parent or guardian cannot be reached within a reasonable time and emergency medical treatment is considered necessary by qualified healthcare professionals, the parent or guardian authorises Khalsa Catalyst representatives to obtain appropriate emergency medical treatment on the participant's behalf.

7. Fees, Bookings & Payments

Where programme fees apply, payment terms will be communicated before confirmation of a booking.

A place on a programme is not guaranteed until any applicable fees have been received and confirmed.

Failure to make payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking.

8. Consumer Cancellation Rights

Where bookings are made online by consumers, cancellation rights may apply under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Unless an exemption applies, consumers generally have the right to cancel their booking within 14 days of entering into the agreement.

If services have already begun with your express consent during the cancellation period, your statutory cancellation rights may be affected as permitted by law.

If you have booked a place on a course or programme and wish to exercise your statutory right to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period, you may submit your cancellation request using our secure online cancellation form.

  • Reason for Cancellation
  • Declaration: I wish to exercise my statutory right to cancel my booking within the applicable cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
