The leadership course is our annual headline event. It is an in person course led by industry experts that develops the next generation with the key skills they need to thrive in todays ever changing world.
Over 50 secondary school students attended from across the UK, showcasing the programme’s growing impact and reach.
Students travelled from multiple regions, highlighting how the course resonates with Sikh youth nationally.
TEDx-Style Talks: Students delivered impactful presentations, helping them build confidence, public speaking, and communication skills.
Dragon’s Den Business Challenge: Teams created and pitched innovative business ideas.
Through hands-on challenges, students learnt how to turn ideas into structured pitches and communicate them confidently.
Students wrote fictional narratives inspired by Sikh historical accounts, combining imagination with cultural learning.
The creative writing labs encouraged young people to connect emotionally with Sikh history and express it in their own voice.

Students enhanced critical thinking, argumentation, and rebuttal skills.
The debate format pushed students to think deeply, listen actively, and respond under time pressure.
Interview Preparation: Intensive workshops helped students master the one-minute self-pitch and key strategies for university and job applications.
Networking & Pitching Sessions: Joint sessions with parents and students focused on effective business pitching and professional networking skills.
Students left with practical tools they can apply immediately in interviews, UCAS applications, and early career experiences.
Talks from trailblazing Sikh professionals in artificial intelligence, property investment, natural resources, and cryptocurrency.
Featured guest: Preet Kaur Gill, Labour MP for Edgbaston.
Direct exposure to Sikh role models in high-impact sectors helped students see what is possible for their own journeys.
Students practiced live responses to real-life Sikhi-related questions:
Facilitators engaged students with real-time simulations, deepening their understanding and confidence in faith-based discussions.
These role plays helped students articulate Sikhi in simple, relatable language in school and social contexts.
The course culminated in a celebratory finale with over 100 guests in attendance. Final rounds included debating, business pitching, and Sikhi role plays.
Winners were awarded Khalsa Catalyst trophies, celebrating their hard work and achievements.
Families, speakers, and students came together in a final celebration of growth, confidence, and sangat.
